This Student Code of Conduct forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Use. It is referred to in clause 4.4 of the Terms of Use.

Introduction

E2 is committed to providing a safe, respectful and inclusive learning environment for all students and E2 staff.

The Code of Conduct is designed to protect the rights of the diverse E2 Community, including students and E2 staff, to allow them to participate freely and appropriately in E2's Live Classes and Tutorials.

The Code of Conduct applies to all students registered for any E2 course. As an E2 student, you agree to follow the terms outlined below.

Respectful treatment of others

E2 values respect and fairness for all students and staff and so we expect all members to behave in a respectful manner. The following behaviour will not be tolerated:

  • Any behaviour that is considered discriminatory, racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, sexually inappropriate, or defamatory
  • Any behaviour that is considered bullying, threatening, harmful, or malicious

Use of online communication

E2 is committed to promoting a safe learning environment with the highest standards for privacy protection for our members. As such, the following will not be tolerated:

  • Distribution of recordings of our Live Classes, Tutorials and course content
  • Sharing of your personal contact details during Live Classes or ask another student for theirs
  • Promotion of external forums in Live Classes including private WhatsApp and other social media groups
  • Advertising products or services - E2's Live Classes are not a platform for campaigning
  • Posting off-topic comments during the Live Class and identical (or near identical) comments posted repetitively - 'Spam'
  • Posts in languages other than English

Feedback and complaints

All feedback and complaints regarding teachers, Tutorials and Live Classes are to be addressed to the Support Team and not to the teachers conducting the Live Classes as this can be distracting for both the teacher and the students.

If you believe that someone has broken the Code of Conduct or you are made to feel unsafe or uncomfortable by another student or teacher, we ask that you contact the Support Team for assistance.

Consequences of misconduct

If a student is found to be behaving in a disrespectful or unsafe manner to the teacher(s) or other students, their account(s) may be suspended immediately without warning to prevent further harm.
