What is included in the E2 Full IELTS Mock Test
Our new mock test covers all four sections of the exam, for both the Academic and General versions updated to 2026 standards:
- Listening: 40 questions with authentic accents and speed.
- Reading: 3 passages of text the follow up questions.
- Writing: Task 1 and Task 2 as in the real test.
- Speaking: Interactive format. You get on a videocall with an examiner.
Please note that this is a timed like the real test, the system will lock you out if your timer runs out before submitting.
A good place to start thinking about your prep is understanding how the mock test mirrors the official Test Report Form (TRF).
Full IELTS Mock Test Tip 1: The “15-20-25” Reading Rule
It is important to manage your time strictly during the Reading section. Many students fail because they spend 20 minutes on the easy first passage and run out of time for the difficult third passage. In our mock test, we demonstrate the 15-20-25 Rule:
- Passage 1: Finish in 15 minutes.
- Passage 2: Finish in 20 minutes.

Full IELTS Mock Test Tip 2: Beware of “Distractors” in Listening
Knowing your vocabulary is just a first step. In the IELTS Listening test, speakers often correct themselves. For example, they might say, “The train leaves at 4:30… oh wait, no, it’s 4:15.” If you write 4:30, you lose the mark.
